School Entry: 11+ London Consortium
The London 11+ Consortium is a group of independent schools in London that have agreed to use the same admissions process for entry into Year 7. All the schools in this group will have the same mark scheme, entrance exam and share the results with all the schools. You can see the list of schools that use the London 11+ Consortium application process on their website.
From 2019 onwards, the maths and English tests have been replaced with a bespoke cognitive abilities test. The test covers verbal ability questions (verbal reasoning and comprehension), numerical ability questions (mathematics) and non-verbal ability questions (non-verbal reasoning). Some of the questions may be multiple choice but others may not, so it is vital that your child has a good understanding of how to apply different exam techniques depending on the question type.
We have assisted hundreds of pupils into leading day and boarding schools in London and across the UK. Our success lies in working with a small group of highly experienced tutors with access to excellent resources. Any tutor who assists your child with preparation for school entrance will have already been successful in helping another pupil gain a place at a school of the same calibre.

Pembroke Tutors partners with the UK’s leading online, adaptive testing and learning platform, Atom Learning, to offer school assessment tests at every point of entry from 7+ onwards. These tests are an excellent indicator as to which schools are suitable.
A Client Manager will be in touch to arrange the assessment and provide detailed feedback on your child’s performance.
Or request to speak with a Client Manager to discuss your tuition requirements for 11+ London Consortium preparation and more information regarding any of our services.
